Change of Name, But Not a Change of Vision

When we originally set out to build servicePath™ we had a vision to build a great platform to solve the challenges we faced when working within IT service providers. This result was us defining a broad concept for the business under the servicePath™ banner and building a number of software tools from costing, pricing, quoting to operational support. solutionEngine was the first product comprised of multiple modules to support “Commercial Lifecycle Management” that was recognised by the MSP, IT service provider markplace as being unique and solving a pressing problem.

We recently reflected on our successes, failures, feedback from our clients and considered the future of our business – we felt it was the right time to get even more focused on being the leader in CPQ and CLM for service providers. In being driven by simplicity and a desire for focus having a name for the company and a name for our software platform didn’t make sense.

Moving forward solutionEngine as a name will no longer exist – we will have a single platform called servicePath™. It will be the same platform that excels at commercial lifecycle management (CLM) and configure price quote (CPQ) for service providers of all types and sizes.

We are one company and one platform…. servicePath™.

On a more practical level, the following things will change in regards to our communications with you:

1. Invoice names for solutionEngine will be replaced with servicePath™
2. Over the coming 2-3 months all knowledge base articles will be revised to reference servicePath™ rather than solutionEngine
